My 2010 is stock as long as you don't count Rally Armor Mud Flaps and Window Tint. I don't plan on doing any engine mods at all till the warranty is over. I will do rims soon. Just need to find that sick deal.

Is extended warranty just like normal warranty? Voided just like normal warranty?

Took mine in at the 15K service check and the service writer told me these two things about mods:
1) my drop in, K&N, was 'iffy' if I ever tried filing a bad MAF warranty claim; they'd say it was the oil causing it to malfunction. (Note: I have had numerous MAF CEL's, less than 10 but more than 3, and they are related to what I REALLY did)

2) I could put a CBE in, but any TBE would out-and-out void the warranty.

So at a bit over 18K, one CEL for a bad throttle position reading, I went for my TBE. I wanted the TBE so I could actually really hear my engine at a competitive sort of place (yeah, track + strip) and perhaps some more power.

Screw stock. I have my OEM TBE I can always reinstall if the thing slags; but at 18k, then, 32k almost now, she's fine. I maintain her, fluids like religion are flushed, and don't rev-limit every day. ;-) Only once a month or on special occasions.

Oh, the CELs'on #1 are overboosting. The TBE breathes so freely, not even with a new intake I can overboost if I drive stupid. Real driving is smooth, get that down, and those CEL's go away.

Oh, and anybody who doesn't unscrew that crappy looking antenna either should ask their kids to do it or their wives. None of us like that R/C look, for $20, tons of nicer ones out there and you can always put your toy one in the spare trunk area for safe keeping.

Are the routine maintenance visits required? I have 8000 miles on my car and I only took it in at 3000 miles for the first one. I get my oil changed somewhere else. When I took it in for the 3000 mile thing they cracked my side skirts on the arms lift they have. I noticed a month later so there was no point going there to complain.

My car has all the basic bolt ons and will have a HFC and downpipe and will be tuned in a month. Cams too. Won't they just void my warranty?

Don't know -- not normally for other mfr's. I took mine in at ~8k because they sent me a free oil change; and at 15k for fluid checks. Other than that, I've done all the maintenance after another outfit lost 3-4 of the bolts that hold on the undercarriage plastic cover. After the TBE, I've avoided the dealership like the plague.

A lot more stock than my STi was! Haha, I had that car stage 2'd within the first two months of owning it.

This car has whats in my sig along with a modified factory muffler, a 2010 antenna, and the 2010 cup holder.

May swap in some MR bits and RA tails down the road.

There's some small thing you can do as far intercoolers, air boxes and exhaust that you can get installed from a SAE certified mechanic and it'll be under warranty. Just make sure you ask the mechanic before you have installed, and keep your stock stuff just incase you need to take it in.
