Yeah i want more reliability from my trans. I have had issues and want to swap out. I love the X's so much i just gotta get another one lol. The problem is i have all these parts in my garage and i'm gonna be itching to put them on when the GSR comes along lol

WOT the first day i got her. i usually take it pretty easy on it but my friends always like to see what she can do.. btw when should i get my first oil change at 2000 or 3000 mi?

 

Sooner the better for oil change. You can never change it too much, remember that.

 

I went easy in mine fro the first 1.5k miles then I drove it like any other car.

 

I broke mines in for 1000 miles but didnt start modding until 5000 miles

 

As soon as I got some cash for modding is when I started to hook my girl up. I got new shoes now I'm waiting on some soles so I can take her running.......

 

i broke in mine when it was 1000 miles

 

I broke in mine slowly. Did not take it to redline till about 800-1000 miles.

 

300 miles i couldn't keep my foot up =/

 

took it easy for first 1000 miles and then didn't take it to redline until after 1500

 

Mine had 150 unknown miles on Speedo when purchased. Never babied it, just drove it like I wanted, first autocross @ 200 miles. Made 300/ 300 on Mustang Dyno on first tune at 500 miles with no mods. At 2000 Miles added the High flow cat, AMS DP, Boosy Pill, and Magnaflow catback made 330 / 325 on the same dyno. Now sitting at 10,000 miles and still runs like a scalded cat. No signs of oil consumption, or blow by.

 

i got my 2010 MR 2 days ago , did a few WOT to test it and now just taking it slow for the first 1000 miles

reckon that won't hurt the engine ?

 

I went about 600 miles taking it easy and breaking it in. Then I did an oil change right after and loaded an AP map around 1000.

 

well i feel kinda bad after reading some of yalls posts. i took it easy on everything even the radio til 750 miles and put a drop in in. now im at 1000. and ill get on it sometimes but never real hard.

 

I bought mine on a Saturday and autocross'd it on Sunday.
