Racing Harness

Hi there everyone

I'm looking to buying a racing harness for my X and I was wondering what brands fit the stock Recaro seats without any modification to the seats or interior

for some extra style points i wanted to try and the the harness for driver and passenger in red to match my RR GSR =P but black will do to =)

Thanks,
Nick

if your going to run a harness id suggest you run a harness bar. If a harness isnt used right it can actually be more harm then good.

AMS makes one...idk who else.

Is this for the track?
Do you have a cage?
Do you harness bar?
Are you ok with never having a backseat passenger?
Do you know what submarining is?

Did you just answer "No" a bunch of time? Guess what, you don't need a harness.

getting a harness is worthless if u dont race... They have kinda like an expiration date kinda... I was gonna buy a good set until i found this out... So im gonna buy some ebay cheapo harnesses because my car turns too hard for stock seatbelts and i wont be doing any TimeAttacks this year

this will probably be your best bet, no need for a harness bar. unless you already do have a cage, but then i doubt you'd be asking this question http://www.soloracer.com/rallye4.html

Wear a helmet if you want to avoid getting head injuries.

there is some actual work but nothing difficult. the lap belts mount to your stock side mounts and the rear to the rear seat belts. you can set it up to still be able to use your 3-points.

Get this one if you care my opinion. No need for harness bars and so. Also the biggest problem you will find in racing harness as soon as you strapped in you cant close the door or reach anything further then your arm length. This one works as a stock belt roll out and in.
Also is an anti sub belt and so. Not to mention is road legal as far as i know.

it is a good solution for those who like a racy look and be safe.

I have the rallye 4's in my car (both passenger and driver). Work well IMO, esp for the price and lack of a harness bar.

i sure they are dot approved. Since they have a street legal adapter, if you need it for more length.

I think they do not list evo since they do not need a unique or some special set up for install. But it is always a great move to contact to them and get some more additional info and so.
I highly recommend the HMS motorsport! They are great and very help full!
