i was wondering if an HKS EIDS for an Evo IX will work on an Evo X. my buddy is interested in buying mine, but he has a X. does anybody know for sure if it will work?

 

im not sure but when i email hksusa.com they really didnt help me at all. it was for my evo 8 though. and they said that its best if i just recirculated it and not vent to atmosphere for they dont know if it will really work for evo. thats what they said. and if its your buddy. then put it on his car and if it works then have him pay up.

how did your EIDS work? any problems during winter or with AC unit on?

 

I have the EIDS on my VIII and if you have it wired right and set up right it works fine noticed no problems with it with AC or cold starts, but when I got tuned I was told that it really doesn't help, actually hurts performance of the car( venting to atmosphere) unless you are running speed density, that why I am recirculating mine and taking out my EIDS. but as far as it working on the X I am not sure if it will work.
