Question What is this in my front grill...

and what would happen if I painted it? It looks like it may have something to do with the air conditioner or the freon system. It loops back into the engine bay.

Thanks

About 2 days after buying my Evo X, I masked everything off with some newspaper and tape... then sprayed a quick blast of mat black paint on that sucker. Not sure why they had to position it right there but the shiny bit behind the black grill looked silly in my eyes and had to go!

Wire loom works as well, and you don't have to remove the bumper to do it.

I put it on the bottom portion only (the part you can see) so the top portion can still dissipate heat.
