The RA mudflaps on my car are definitely helping. Some chipping is always to be expected with sticky tires and aggressive wheel fitment, but at 8,000 miles I have noticed none.

These flaps, coupled with the 3m clearbra I had installed at 1,500 miles should prevent a significant amount of rock/debris damage. It should also be noted that I installed the flaps so they stick out as much as possible.

got ra flaps + clear bra. still getting chips on the edge of the rear quarter panel where it meets the seam of the rear door. the clearbra installer didn't wrap it around the edge, so the edge itself looks pretty damn brutal. i hope it doesn't start rusting

That's my only regret that I didn't get them sooner. I hate when I wash the car and I goto dry off the portion where all the rock chips are. A buddy of mine said most of mine will buff out.

My solution was to use:

1) Dr. Colorchip to fix the rash. AWESOME product.

2) Rally Armor flaps

3) Venture shield large area on rear doors and rockers.

Not one chip since. I never even worry now. Drove all winter in snow/salt. Nothing. I did the Dr. Colorchip, then with the film over that looks brand new.
