passenger seat belt light not stable
i put my laptop on the passenger seat as i go to work every morning. i noticed recently the passenger seat belt light would start to flick on and off while i was driving. could it be because the car is confused by my laptop and thought it was a real passenger in that seat?
Do you mean flicker or blink?
The seat measures the weight of what ever is in the seat and if it is heavy enough, it turn the airbag on and that is why the light comes on. For a little while though, I think the light blinks if you don't have the seat belt buckled. Or if it is flickering, maybe your bag is at JUST the right weight and the seat is having trouble figuring out if it needs to turn the airbag on or not. If you sit in the seat and get out it should reset it, if it is giving you problems.
