hey guys i need help.. what is the max whp can a stock cluch hold on a 2008 evo x grs with out slipping??? My mod list::: intake with upper ic pipe, turbo back exhaust, and aem water/ meth injection.. do you guys think my stock cluch can hold these mods?? I don't know how much whp i be getting but i heard DYNOFLASH said that it can only hold 350 whp before slipping is this true? HELP any input will help.. what are you guys pulling on your stock cluch? and again i have a 2008 evo x gsr...THANKS

 

A lot of people are running E85, 400WHP+ on the stock clutch. They just don't launch them, and they know how to drive.

If you're planning to launch a lot, do a lot of 1/4 miles, or drive like a moron, your stock clutch would be screwed even on a fully stock car.

 

456 any more hp than that and it will break 100% may want 455 to be safe

There are a ton of variables that will break a stock clutch based on someones driving. There isnt a set number you should watch out for. If you dont launch or 2 step your car it will help. Ive seen tons of these threads it all comes down to how you drive and luck.
