My thing with thread was to find out why people are having so much trouble installing this TT and why some are against having a TT. At the moment I don't have one, but was looking into getting one.

Don't you guys want to make sure your car is well taken care of and that you can monitor the components on your car? That's what I did with my Integra and it worked out just fine with that car. Give me some good reasons as to why I don't need a TT. Don't just tell me that I don't need one or it didn't come factory. Don't you think Mitsu had to cut cost somewhere, since the car is so expensive already. Come on guys I might be new to EVO's, but not to the imports scene.

Sorry about that but I don't know how to answer your question specifically on the wiring. I just wanted to give you my thoughts as well as some others on the matter.

If you want one by all means get one, I'd take swishasweets comments into consideration and try to select a different brand though. The whole reason why people don't get them is because they know by taking certain precautions you don't need it.

I don't think anyone here is doubting your knowledge on imports so don't take anyone's comment the wrong way. If you do get one I'd make sure the car does lock it self after the time is done or you're going to have to sit there and wait for it. I really doubt you're always going to be parked somewhere safe so coming back to lock it should be out of the question. I'll leave it at that, sorry if I wasn't more of help. Just trying to save you the money so you can put it towards something you'll get better use of.

Thanks for the kind words! I might go with a differant brand, but I was really curious as to why so many people are having these issues. When it sounds so easy to install, but no one so far could really give me that answer. I have no problems looking at other brands which I have already done. I just want to be able to monitor what my car is doing since there are no factory gauges.

If you don't want to run wiring for gauges maybe this could help. I don't have one since I have gauges, but I'm sure there's other similar objects.

Oh are you talking about gauges now or a TT? I'm all for the gauges and that will be my next mod. Those are 100% usefull if you're going to do any kind of modding.

My original post was for a TT, but at one point we got on the subject of boost gauges. A TT is part of gauges to me. A TT at this point is going to need more thought, but other gauges are be pondered on as we speak. MAybe I'll bet two or three not sure just yet. Any suggestions are welcome here.

Ohh I gotcha, I wouldn't really call a timer a "gauge" but to each his own. I'm going with boost, oil temp, and oil pressure. Been thinking of a WB02 but not sure yet.
