If you have E85 readily available, add a Walbro fuel pump and DW800CC injectors, then run the Cobb Stg2 E85 map.

You will have a ton of power and torque and zero headaches.

From everything I've read, probably the Cobb.

One of the reasons I wanted the AMS or ETS over the AEM was because I wanted to hear the intake sounds (mainly the bov). Now I am reading that I won't get that with the MR, which makes sense. What sounds would I hear with the open element over the boxed AEM?

Same here, I just installed mine on my MR as well. I love the sound of the intake, but the car definitely needs an exhaust, bad!

At cruise and low throttle my Magnaflow is super mellow and pretty much the perfect DD exhaust.

It's nice and deep sounding with ZERO highway drone.

Every intake that was mentioned by the OP disturbes the fuel trims EXCEPT the INJEN. It is the best intake for the Evo 10. It is the ONLY intake that you can install without a tune. All others require a tune to correct the screwed up trims that the intake causes.

GET THE INJEN

this is not true. my drop in didn't effect the trim at all. there are others that will effect the trim, but not in a negative way.

ALTHOUGH you should get some kind of tune with EVERY intake.
