ASC and AWC Service lights on

I just recently did the steering wheel audio control switch and AWC relocation mod to my car and now after a week of driving it around, the ASC and AWC service lights are on the information display. I searched for potential fixes here and so far no luck. I've tried to "reset the ECU" by taking off the negative terminal on the battery, checked my fluids, and nothing so far is working.

Just about an hour ago, the airbag light came up as wheel showing it needs service.
I checked all my connections to the steering wheel and it's all good. I took it to Autozone to have them run the OBD II reader and nothing flagged?? It was supposedly clean. I been at this problem for about 4 hours now and I don't see any other solutions other than take it to the dealer at this point.. Unfortunately, service is not open today for the holiday.

I have no other mods other than a HKS Legamax Axleback and the HKS midpipe along with a HKS type 0 turbo timer. Still running on a stock ECU map. Any help with this would be much appreciated!

I've seen this posted up before...if you bump the steering wheel position sensor then the traction control becomes disabled because it can't tell the angle of the steering wheel. You'll probably have to bring it to the dealer.

Interesting... anyone else have this issue? I had my airbag, AWC, etc lights for a few days, and today they just shut off and I have no lights on. I didn't fix anything, maybe they reset after a certain number of starts? Still no idea why the airbag light would be on. Guess I might have to take it to the dealer

PS sorry to bring this back from the dead.

I find it troubling whenever a light comes on, then automatically shuts off without me knowing if the issue was fixed or not. Just one of those things that stays in my head

my service engine light goes on and off from time to time. i blame it on the catless TP. never stays on for long and it only started after installing the TP.

I hate cats!!!

If the light went off I wouldn't worry about it.
