page two of this report talks about how mitsubishi is working on a hybrid turbo-diesel to power the next X as new emissions laws crack down on automakers.
this is cool because the Euro-Spec WRX currently employs a turbo-diesel and it will greatly increase the torque level AND fuel efficiency if mitsu did this. Seems like they are still getting these reports from their "sources," and are still kind of unsure exactly what mitsubishi is doing with the X, but have apparently confirmed they are not cancelling it like previously thought.
let the opinions come in. I personally think a turbo diesel would be sick!
