I had a question about break-in time
I had a question about break-in time
I've never had a turbo car in my life, but I'm going to buy an X here very soon, 2010 to be exact. I remember overhearing the dealership talking about the turbo-break in time for the EVO when I was buying my GTS a few years back. Now I'm looking to get an X and really would like to know what they were talking about. I think they were saying something along the lines of you can't go into high boost (no flooring it) for 5K miles, to allow for the turbo to settle-in? Not sure if this is true, but what do you guys know about this, since you already have X's? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks !!
drive on and off the gas and vary the rpms for the first 600km, after that ***** to the walls baby. Thats what ive done with mine, and i jus pulled a 280hp 280tq wheel with just a cobb stg 1 map.
and i put a wing on, i think that was good for 10horse. mr badge too, good for 2hp
