While I agree that R n D semi helps justify the causes.... Look at a company like AMS, AMS R n D's the heck out of their products and they aren't nearly as expensive HKS.
They have produced a new GTR Turbo kit for what $6k while others are selling GTR turbo kits for like $8-9k.
Overpriced Crap is basically what it comes down to !! LOL

Over time, the car scene has changed and varies from city to city, state to state. I believe HKS has to change business practices soon. There was a time when an HKS exhuast and other products were the sh*t.
But this was before the US market tuners and shops started catching on improving and making products just as good if not better while giving us plenty of choices and competition.

Who is going to be the first to finish up an GTR with over 1000 whp
Proven parts cost money, going fast is never cheap... if you want cheap, get taco bell to make some parts for the evo and you can sample the dollar menu. if you want proven reliable parts, you need to pay to play!
Whatother intercooler performs like the AMS with cast end tanks? Buschur's intercoolers are within a stone throw of AMS prices. What exactly do you think a Intercooler is worth? Do you think you could stay in business by selling the same intercoolers for $300.00? Should a t/3 t/4 turbo kit cost $1500?
Competition is good my friend that is what is great about the aftermarket world. It allows companies like AWD, ETS, AMS, BUSCHUR, etc. etc. to compete. Its the companies who can spend the time to R n D the products the best to their knowledge and then to be able to come out with a design and try to keep in competitive in the market place. Also, things like service, customer service, welds on the manifolds, overall craftsmenship and etc. also hold a decision when buying.
no need to be so angry,lol, so if most of the shops are over priced, I guess it would be smart to start making all the duplicate parts for a 1/2 the price and provide the same level of quality and customer service as stateside shops do.
If you want the JDM powa then feel free however I will stick with the companies state side for the evo power.

Are you referring to HKS? I wouldn't be telling people you have a titanium exhaust, since all their exhaust come with stainless piping. Unless there is another HKS model out that I just didn't notice.

Im debating about their testpipe... i took the plunge on the exhuast so should i spend another 300 bucks for a freaking test pipe? what are your thoughts??!?!?!
