whats up with HKS prices?

just curious, how can HKS stay in business charging absurd prices when companies like ETS and offer no bs products that are proven to make power and are priced reasonably?

[specific reference: HKS fuel rail/injector/pump kit $1400 range]
to me this is a few hundred dollars more than you would if you went to like MAP

ARC is like this too, but most of their stuff is titanium so it makes sense that their prices would be higher.

even when i was living in japan their stuff was too expensive. it just seems like bad business sense to keep your prices so high when the competition makes better stuff and sells it for cheaper.

HKS doesnt even have an edge. ARC at least markets the crap out of burnt titanium.

HKS is a legit brand and they stand behind their products and all of them are tested and proven. They have a ton of cars that they worked with including the hipermax evo. The reason they cost so much is because of the research and development put into the products. Then you get the other guys that take their ideas/products and make cheaper copies. Hence why you get cheaper products then HKS.
