POLL - Evo X owners: Did you get a short shifter?

I'm considering getting a short shifter, however thought I'd poll the boards prior to pulling the trigger so see how many adopters are out there. Please comment on your experience and which manufacturer you went with. Please vote!

Not interested.
As notchy as these transmissions are, the last thing I would want is for Mitsu to deny boarding on a warranty claim and blame it on the shifter.

I had the Works SS but ended up selling it to a friend who had just bought their X. I didn't need it no more after changing the under hood bushings, the car shifts the way I want it. A weighted shift knob also helps out alot with the shifting.

WORKS SS, AMS bushings all around and redline cocktail. I love it, but I can't stand the stock shift pattern on any car! If nothing else the bushings make a world of difference.

I have had the TWM shifter and base bushings for a few months now but have not put them in yet.

After putting in the AMS underhood shift busching's I don't mind the stocker at all. They cleaned it up a lot.

I have the TWM SS w/base bushings and a Skunk 2 weighted type R knob. The difference is unbelievable. Stock setup is like driving a bus. The shifting feels flimsy. Changing to a short throw and adding a weighted shift knob adds so much "feel" to shifting. The shifts feel strong, tight, and well-seated. It really is a must have.

I have the TWM with their console bushings and A6 Leopard Shift Knob, along with Works under hood bushings...I absolutely love this set up. Way smoother & quicker shifts now.

With the increased weight of the TWM shift knob (over 1 lb vs 193 g for the stock aluminum shift knob), effort wise I can't feel the difference in throws between my TWM set up and stock.

Complete WORKS shifter setup (shifter, base bushings, underhood bushings, and knob) along with the AMS pivot gate bushing and Redline cocktail. I've also tried the TWM but wasn't pleased with it as it felt unnatural to me.

Here is my comparison review thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/se...t-shifter.html

TWM + base bushings and blox weighted shift knob. I can't imagine driving without it.
