New to Evo 2010 MR Phantom Black

Finally purchased my new Evo. I must say I was worried about moving from my Mustang Cobra but driving this thing around town is just a blast.

I'll post pics soon too.

If its anything else than night and day i would be shocked......

I had numerous stangs before the evo all of which had suspension work to try and get them to handle and when i test drove the evo I kinda laughed at myself at how big of an idiot i was being.

Congrats on the purchase!!!! Great Color Choice as well.

I remember driving a friend's mustang gt and it felt like driving a tank. I much prefer Japan's approach to cars .

If you like it now just wait till you mod it. Car is so slow stock, get a tune and it will really wake up your car.

I think I will always love the American V8 (the sound, the torque) but driving the EVO is just a blast compared to the mustang stoplight to stoplight. There is a great left and turn from my office that I just help but accelerate through now.

It’s funny how taking a turn can be just as fun as strait line acceleration. The Stang just had basic mods and made 319 at the wheels (not supercharged). I’m sure the EVO will be just incredible with the same power. I do miss that Mustang that I put 128,000 miles on myself.

I live in Plano about 20 minutes from Cobb. I’ll purchase a tuner the day of 1k miles. I want to keep it quiet and have decided if I’ll go FP green or keep the stock turbo.

Can't wait to tune. I am yet to have it above 5k rpm.

Gratz!

With a nice tune and exhaust, youll go from losing to 370z's e46 m3's G8's and Camaro SS's to beating them

stock ones of course

No need to wait for 1k to get an AP. You can change the tune out the box.
