I have a stock engine eco-lancer with some nice lookin exterior mods. When i see evos driving around i usually try to mess with them speed up, slow down, give them a little honk just because i want to hear them rev it up/hear their BOV. Most guys with evos around here have norespect for us lancers tho wont even look at me twice let alone a wave or thumbs up.

 

It's just some people who have the Evo believe they are acknowledging a lesser car, which performance wise it is, but the Evo is a lesser car to say a GT-R, but I still like to admire them.

 

not by much good sure you can destroy a stock gtr and not have half the amount of money in your evo...and parts for a gtr are stupid amounts of money

 

i was coming home from the strip club and was stopped at the light about to get on the highway...an old 300M was next to me. The guy pulled out in the intersection when the light was still red, i just thought he was in a hurry to get home...long story short im doing the speed limit because its late and the chrysler is about 7 cars lengths ahead and im in the slow lane cruising..2 mins later he throws his hazards on,lol.....i guess he thought we were racing since we were the only people on the road at 2am. I have to admit i was a lil upset that he probally thought he put a hurting on my car that night,lol. Other than that just about every other car is nice when im driving...i encountered a nice looking M5 while driving home early in the morning one day....the guy sped up to get close to me and we cruised together the whole way.

 

Yeah, the parts are quite OVERLY expensive that's for sure.

 

The sound of those subaru boxer engines, is like nails on a damn chalkboard... No, worse than that. Every time I hear one, I want to pull out a gun and silence it. Never mind the douche hanging out the window asking if I want to race.

i disagree the worst sounding is the bubble-style civics with about a 2 foot wide muffler tip and 27 holes drilled into the cat

 

this is the same problem i have, and its because you have an EVO

 

had an integra gsr before my evo and EVERYBODY AND THEIR MAMMA wanted to race me, when i got my evo, it was a whole other story, i've had one person actually roll up on me for a legit race, boosted s2000, but still smoked him

cause your like the little brother that wants to follow us around and be like us, but dont have the stuff to be like us, but one day youll get you an evo and youll be the big brother(EVO) ignoring the little brother(Lancer) on the streets

I have a Honda and my ricer Evo friend tries to race me all the time LOL. Jk but yeah we get alot of other Hondas and Subarus try to race us when we'll just be cruising from his house to my house ha!

 

Guys I'd like to remind you, there shouldn't be any talk of street racing here.
