Questions regarding intercoolers.....

Hi again, I am just getting used to the turbo world that is why questions keep popping up. Anyways, again, I need you pros to help me out on this.... So I was reading through the forums and there was a sticky saying that the LICP gives you the most gains out of all the intercoolers (UICP, FMIC) However when i was looking into some of them they have different piping sizes (2.5", 3". 3.5". 4") My question is "What is the most common pipping size in regards to LICP?" Also do I have to replace the FMIC and the UICP as well, or can I do them one by one? Some good suggestions (brands)?

It's actually the UICP that gives the most gains as far as I understand, not the LICP.

You don't have to replace the FMIC and the UICP, you can do it one by one. I have the AMS UICP and AMS IC on my car. I didn't get an LICP because I heard the stock one flows well and barely adds any gains.

Yes the UICP is the one that gains the most on the X.
