i had to buy a universal 3 inch one at auto zone cause they didnt have one that fit....i run k&n and its much easier!

 

Just leave it. Oil filters are like apples; they eventually fall off on their own.

Also, ignore me. The only good piece of advice I have to give is that I'm terrible at giving advice. (Alternately, an oil filter wrench should work. You can have mine. I bought it before changing the oil on my RX7, back in the day, then discovered I didn't need it because the filter is right out in the open. I have no idea where the wrench went. In the trunk of the 7, probably. Find the guy I sold it to, then ask him for it. Tell him I said it's okay)
