Plz let us know what the dealer offers so and what you paid as to educate others so no one else will want to make the same mistake. And like others have said the x is not the 8 or 9. It is very different (ix mrs were faster around a track by a second or two than the x. Test drive it and let us know what you think first give yourself some time to think "out loud" if you will.

Sounds like you made a big mistake. Just keep it and be happy. Look at the bright side, it's not a 2011 focus.

How long have you had the car for? They've only been out since September and you want to axe it already?!?!?

Just make sure you like the Evo a LOT before dumping the Subie.

All Subaru people talk smack about evo's but in the end results speak for themselves...Evo's have always beaten out STI's in all performance categories.

I went down to the Mitsubishi Dealer and test drove an EVO X on 10/25/10.

This is my opinion of the EVO X and 2011 STi Sedan.

The EVO X felt heavier however the steering wheel feedback was a lot sharper. Also the engine sounds better and have a better kick at high RPM. The steering wheel feedback on the 2011 STi is light and precise while the EVO X had a more refine feedback. The EVO X steering wheel felt more solid and heavy compared to the STi.

I love the seats of the EVO X however that's the only thing that the EVO X have over the STi in terms of interior wise. Inside the STi there are STi logos everywhere, however, inside the EVO X there's no EVO X logo.

After driving both my conclusion is this, basically the EVO felt like a Honda Civic with precise heavy steering feedback and high rpm kick while the Sti felt like a Toyota Corolla with a light steering feel and no top end but good low rpm kick.

I am still deciding whether I should trade my STi in and lose 3,500 or use that money and mod it. I don't really care about the tax money I lost on the STi because my wife and I will have to pay back when we do our taxes so this is a good chance to write it off .

I wanted a WW EVO X but there's no more WW 2010 EVO with SSS around anymore. I know the 2011 EVO has shipped but I don't want a 2011 due to the fact that there are good deals for the 2010 EVO at the moment. The dealers are trying to get rid of the 2010 EVO because the longer they sit the more value they lose. I will make my decision soon and will post back if I decided to go to the dark side.

Go online and find yourself a WW 2010 in the same timezone as you. I expect they are out there to be had.

When I tuned my EvoX all was good for cheap money, but once or twice i had to put it back to stock to go back to the dealer for a recall or service. I don't even know how I drove it that way for almost a year. If you think it has top end kick stock, a tune will really make you hate the subaru.
