Idle Problem

Well heres the story. So I'm accelerating hard onto an on ramp and it feels like I have alot of power loss. At that same time, my check engine light flicks on. I kept driving and when I got to my house, my car was idling at like 2,2xx and it was real loud, rough sounding, and it smelled like something was burning. I turned the car off then on again, the idle was back to normal, but the check engine light still stayed on. I didnt have time to deal with my car then so I just put her in the garage and was planning on dealing with it today. So when I turned my car on, well nothing was out of the ordinary. I then just thought it was a fluke the other day. But when I was going onto another on-ramp the same thing happened again and my idle was so rough while sitting in traffic and something smelled like burning. Burning smell more than normal because I am catless.

Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong? My mods include dp, tp, cbe, high flo filter and thats it. I did just recently get my tp put on and it had a O2 adapter so I wouldnt throw a code. When my light came on I thought it was just from the sensor maybe but I dont know what would have caused such a rough idle.

Thanks in advance, Nick.

No but would that really take care of a rough idle?

You should've definitely tuned it. Check your O2 sensor, and or MAF. You definitely need to get it tuned though, due to moding your Evo.

Checked the frp and o2...both look good. I know I need a tune just thought since the idle was so bad that it could have been more. Thanks guys.
