Shopping for parts in Japan

I am in Japan for a few weeks and was wondering if it would be worth my while to go shopping for parts while I am here. When I say worth it I mean cheaper, or parts that are hard to get in the states. Please let me know what you would get if you were in Japan.

Current mods include intercooler and upper pipe, FP red, injectors, open O2 dump down pipe with test pipe and exhaust, coil over suspension with rims and rubber.

Parts in Japan usually cost more in Japan than in the USA due to the weak dollar conversion and the fact that they price it lower to sell on the US market so it is better to buy it here.

Autobacs in the Tokyo Bay is easy to get to if you are in the Tokyo area. Otherwise most car shops are in the middle of nowhere and are not easy to access without a car.

there is a super autobacs in Itsakahichi (just south of hiroshima, north of Iwakuni)

also go to an upGarage. upgarage is awesome because the sports car scene in japan is really trendy and they change their seats and such every year to keep up with the latest models. Upgarge is where they sell the year old stuff they don't want anymore. Almost like a sports car parts pawn shop! found two "new" recaros, and a new steering wheel for my RX-7 for like 2g's.
