Can't believe that my 2010 MR with less than 7000 miles is experiencing what I think is a bad CV joint/axle: on full left steering lock, I hear that clicking sound one normally associates with bad CV joints. I quickly looked at and around the front axle boots, and didn't see anything abnormal, like rips or grease seeping out of the boots and/or grease stains around the area surrounding the boots.

I'm ready to call the nearest dealership and set up an appointment, but was wondering whether the symptom I described above is something that other members here have experienced, and if so what was the cause. Also, I live in the San Jose area, and the nearest dealership is Capitol . Anyone of you out there can attest to how good/bad they are?
