SST Gear Display Gauge

Does anyone make an aftermarket LED gauge that fits in a std size cup to display SST gear selection?

Thinking of an MR purchase in the future and not being able to easily see the current gear selected is one of my biggest complaints on the DSG in my daily driver GTI.

Are you trying to mount a gear indicator higher on the dash board? The stock setup shows the current gear with numbers that are almost an inch high! Seems pretty big to me already...

Good to know...didn't realize the were almost an inch tall in the or dash cluster, which is what I would be trying to accomplish. On my GTI they are only like a 1/4 tall.

Yes, I was thinking of mounting on the column or on the pillar in pod w/ boost gauge.

Personally I haven't seen a remote gauge cluster for the gear selection...

When you are in automatic mode it shows D with the current gear shown really small... like maybe 1/2 inch tall. But when you choose a gear yourself... the gear number shows up a lot bigger.

This really won't be necessary. Even with my Blitz Boost Gauge / Turbo Timer on my column, the gear number is so big in manual mode you can see it just fine.
