My only quibbles about the X's wheel are:
1. No telescoping column. I like the "Italian driving position", but this is extreme even by those standards.
2. I'd like to swap the radio volume and track controls. I'm constantly changing tracks when I meant to change volume.
3. I can see that having cruise control on the wheel would be handy ... for those who ever use cruise control. But I'd rather have the HUD select and AYC controls there.

But for those who think the X's wheel is "too big", check out the one from the '63 Chrysler Imperial.

And if you think the X's is "too busy", check out this 2009 BMW (F1).

if you dont mind not having an air bag, detachable steering wheel isnt a bad route to go either to the OP

I don't believe that the steering wheel in the X is real leather; looks better than the fake leather on the Sti, but still looks fake none the less.

Looks stupid. The IX steering wheel is very plain.

i love the X stock steering wheel + the options on them. In my opinion for street much better then a CT9A. On track neither is good as one track steering wheel.

This is my racing car steering wheel. smaller then both and makes a car super sensitive

I really don't like the X wheel. Not just the X, any steering wheel with buttons/switches/knobs. Can't stand it.
