Yes they are I was offered one for 36 last november. I ended up getting a 14 mr local.

I guess things changed now compared to when you bought yours last year.

 

I got my SE (WW #311) at SCM back in 2011 after texting Sam Smash and making a deal by text. Later I learned they weren't supposed to sell me an SE but honored the agreement as I had it in writing. I remember the SE collection I carefully chose my car from and it sounds like they only sold 1-2 more since then, maybe zero. They were already about a year old at the time.

Abbas, the owner of SCM and at least 2 other Mitsu dealers in LA, has been hanging on to those SEs for 4 years waiting for them to appreciate.

 

#161 Octane Blue SE became mine today. 52,000 miles and 3 previous owners.... this one gets around.

 

Just curious what was the original msrp on these SE models in 2010 ?

 

I think it was $34,500 but that's just a number that stuck in my head when researching.

Searched forum and see that I bought tsidrift1 g/f 's old WW evo SE, # 290, back in November 2013. Paid just over 26K - wish I saw it listed here back then for 24.5 . Maybe he can convince her to sell me the keychain....

Just got a GG SE with 19,500 miles on it in Pittsburgh. Trying to see if I can track down a previous owner that may know which number is associated with this SE. Original owner was from Ohio, most recent owner was in Pittsburgh. First purchased in 2011, owner sold the car at 9-10k miles in Ohio. Hoping someone has a lead on it!

I own 093 but it's not the one in that picture on the first page. 093 is a Wicked White SE out of California to my knowledge, (At least that's what is on my door and Carfax!)

 

There is no identifying number on the door. There is no correlation between VIN # and SE #. The numbers were given out in the order that the cars were sold, so you DON'T have #93.
