If he's not there, ask somebody in service what day he'll be there next. It will be a Tuesday or Thursday around 10:00AM. Have a few bills on you and somebody follow you so you can go grab lunch or kick it at the mall for a couple of hours.

Problem solved.

Next time, buy the road hazard insurance that you assumed was a scam that the finance manager tried to sell you when you bought the car. It probably would have paid for itself by now.
Kool thanks.

So I found this place in my town that says they repair bent rims which usually costs between $80 - $100 per rim... Not to bad

I will say this. If you go through insurance, the price for each wheel (msrp) is 86x.xx. I broke two and went though insurance and used the money to buy aftermarket wheels. gets u around $1700 to spend.

also try showing the police report to your insurance and see if they will put the township at fault. information is your friend and get as much as possible before you make a decision.

So you got your ins to cut you a check w/o proof of purchase? Did you just send them a quote from the dealer or something?

Actually not really. If your tires aren't damaged as well then they will not honor the road hazard.

Ask me how I know this

insurance does not require a proof of purchase, and neither is it shady or illegal.
I have been in a few not at fault collisions, and you can either have them fix it, or estimate the cost and then cut you a check.

Insurance's job is to provide you with the ability to be in the same position you were prior the incidnet.

I saved money by getting them to cut me a check for the OEM parts to repair my evo, and I got a JDM rear and upgrades.

Have em send you a check for 2 OEM wheels and do as you please

I called to verify it was ok. They would have to cut a check for the oem wheels to be replaced which was quoted at msrp so I got a check for it.

Did they sell separate wheel insurance when you bought the car? When I bought my car, the finance manager was practically begging for me to get it. I don't remember the exact details, but it basically covers any damaged wheel that is on your vehicle, even aftermarket, up to a certain dollar amount. Sounds like it may have been useful in your situation

All policies are not the same. YMMV.

That blows. Hopefully you can get them repaired, find a used set or go the insurance route like someone mentioned. GL!
