Well today I finally got the last backordered components of my exhaust that I was waiting over a month for and it's all going to get installed tomorrow morning if all goes well. The wait will definitely be worth it and my poor little X will finally get that bad-*** sound it deserves after a whole year of stockness haha.

Decided to put them to the scale to see what the ACTUALLY weigh. Not the best scale in the world, but alot more accurate than the crappy digital one I had in the past that would fluctuate between measurments. Anyway...

ETS V2 Extreme, Axle-back section: 9 1/2 lbs



ETS V2 Extreme Axle-cat(Yes, that's what i'll call it lol) section: 10 lbs



So give or take a couple more ounces for the V-Band connection it came with and the Vibrant gasket for a total of 20lbs. Not bad eh? Although their site says 27lbs, it probably includes the weight of the resonator which is pictured on it. I opted out on that option as I have the option of just replacing the TP with a resonated version from AMS.

AMS Testpipe: 4 lbs



AMS Widemouth Downpipe: 13 lbs



AMS hardware/nuts & Vibrant gasket all less than 1 lb so I didn't even bother weighing them.

Just want to thank my Wife for the best Xmas present EVER everyone over at ETS & AMS for their great customer service. Won't be the last time i'll be calling you guys!

***I'll update this page with some nice HD videos tomorrow after the install hopefully if everything goes well.

how will the ETS with vband bolt the the AMS pipe with flange. or am i seeing it wrong

The two "taped" ends connect using the V-band clamp.

 

i know. i had a brain fart for a sec. in the pic i saw vband and flange. i didnt see the flange on the other end of the cat back.

Thanks for weighing the AMS downpipe too, very nice to know what it weighs. For comparison, the stock o2 housing + downpipe + heatshields weigh 16 lbs and my MAP o2 elim downpipe weighs 8 lbs.
