Feedback on SEIBON OEM TRUNK

Sup peeps, just needed some feedback on the SEIBON OEM TRUNK before I make a purchase.

How did the install go?
Any fitment or gap issues?
Does the rear lights line up well?
Any members on here with a picture of the SEIBON Trunk installed on the evo x?

I bought one from seibon and the fitment was terrible.
You can't close the trunk properly and water gets in

Wow, you'd figure with a good name like Seibon that the products would be flawless.

I bought one for my Subaru STi and it did not fit well at all. Could never get it to sit right and the gaps were never even.

I haven't had 1 Seibon product I haven't had to modify yet to fit correctly. I'll never buy Seibon again.

Oh, I'd like to add...

I contacted Seibon on the last part I bought (Carbon Fiber X front grille). They basically told me that their products are only meant to be installed by auto body professionals with extensive fiber glass experience. I've built sub boxes out of fiber glass a few times, so I could handle it. But it came across as quite rude.

It took extensive grinding and manipulation on the grille to finally get it to "fit".

On top of that, their "Carbon Fiber" X Grille, is about 90% fiberglass. /sigh

i took my seibon fender vents off, because of very very very pooooor fitment, i literally had to get two sided tape, stick 6 pieces together for 3/4 of an inch and it would work. SAD SAD and such a waste of money!!!

plus the fact i waited 3 months for them...seibon is a poor company, and to spend 2000+ to lighten the car, you might as well make it yourself and take the risk.

I bought a Siebon full front center bumper replacement and a Rexspeed radiator cover. The Rexspeed stuff... awesome fit and finish. The Siebon.. pure and utter crap. Horrible fitment and took over 2 months to get a refund, had to threaten lawsuit. Dont ever buy from Siebon.
