I hit a deer recently and it messed up my whole passenger side. I ended up getting Seibon CF fenders for 40.00 dollars more then 1 Fender from Mitsu. You shuld ask the body shop if thats an option for you. And if you dont like the CF look you can get it painted. Might be worth it to get your car back. Sorry abou the news I feel you.

If the insurance company determines that it was her fault, and her insurance pays, make sure to collect for diminished value. Google it - it's the diminished value of your Evo due to the fact that it has been in a wreck, whether or not it was perfectly repaired. No one knows about it. 100% of insurance policies disclaim liability for it, so you can't collect from your own insurance company, but if it's someone else's fault, you can collect.

To prove damages: go to three dealerships, get three trade-in values, on paper. Then tell them that it has been in an accident and sustained $X,XXX in repairs. Ask them for another written estimate after taking that into consideration. The difference in the non-wrecked value vs. the wrecked value will be thousands. I've seen trade-in value differences of $4,000-$6,000 on $30,000 cars.

Demand that the lady's insurance company pay for the diminished value of your Evo.

Thank for the diminished value heads up!

My body shop called today and the fender came in like 15 minutes ago. I get her back probably in a week or 2. Super stoked! Ill post pics soon.

Thanks for your condolences guys. Much appreciated.

Sorry to hear. you need to round house kick someone for this one. I'm glad you are okay and overall at least the car isn't in a worse condition!

Some people should just stay home. Basic traffic rules.. argh

On another note: That guy in the picture is like "Why, oh why, did you have to hit an evo.."
