Try running Axxis Ultimates and you'll want to pull your hair out of your head.
Hahahaha that is so true I can vouch for this. I bought these pads and He is right. I change to Hawks and I never hear any squeaks I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. But the Axxis pads holy crap it felt sounded as if I was in a dump trunk when I hit the brake.

Buy a Honda Civic if you want quit. I just don't get why some people buy Evo's.

Haha new evo owners.... normal. My 8 did it and so does my x. Haha @ train station sounding Evo meet... ain't that the truth? I guess these cars aren't for everyone. I think a lot of Evo owners would go off the deep end if they owned a gvr4 or a DSM. Brake noise means the car is able to be driven. _

The next Evo will have brakes and pads that don't squeal, but with a stopping distance as long as that of a Lancer DE and fades at the first hint of hard driving. It will have a soft suspension that wallows because people don't like the ride. It will have all-season tires that last forever, but with little grip. Thanks to all the whiners. If you want to complain about something, complain about the piston-rods that are not horsepower friendly.

I was seriously about to say the same thing.

mine squeak from time to time but you can't complain about squeaking or break dust when you buy a performance car.

I bought stop tech pads. Issue was solved

it annoys me and its kinda embarassing when your driving by people or have a bitty in the car..but its not the end of the world. The dust annoys me more, i hate having to hand scrub my wheels almost every week. Switch pads.

you have to bed the pads to the rotors...a lot of very hard braking will make this process faster...squeeling is just something that comes with performance braking i get told that my brakes are metal to metal by people all the time and i just laugh haha

yep the dust part is worse cause if you don't keep it off the wheel it will ruin them.

New brakes squeal, performance brakes squeal more. You must pay for a top quality installation if you want quiet brakes. But if you want quiet brakes then you might want to try riding a bike. I "hear" they are very quiet.

Sorry about all the negative feedback, but honestly you are the one who dropped down 30 grand on a performance car and turned around to complain about squealing brakes. There's nothing embarrassing about it, it's an effect of high performance brakes. By the way, the 90K GTR has the same brakes, and guess what? They also squeal. Do you think GTR owners are embarrassed about it?

My stock pads always squealed some, but nothing like the HP+ pads I have on now. You can hear my car from a mile away, people stare and wince and tell me they think I need to change my brake pads. I dont care, they did their job but I will be switching to Carbotech in about a month before track season starts up again. You have to expect some noise with performance breaks.
