I assume it was an Evo. Does anyone know any details regarding this? Esentially, sales person takes over testdrive to show them "how it's done." Crashes and father dies.

This is absolutely horrible! The car salesman should pay heavily. It's one thing to drive fast on your own... but to hurt...yet alone kill people is absolutely insane.

I ****ing hate it when salesman do this - when they act like they're the best driver in the world and completely understand the car just because they work for a Mitsu dealership.
I own an RA and even I don't push the test-drive RA's that hard with customers. The car business has such a low expectation for salesman it's disgusting sometimes.

I never, EVER, EVER let someone drive or ride with someone who I don't know. Even if I know them and they drive like a jackwagon I won't ride with them just because of this prime and sad example. It's not worth it, if the car will do 100mph with the salesman driving or not does not sell the vehicle for me.
This stealership might as well say goodbye to their business. Guy working/driving with alcohol in his blood? I wonder how long he was working and if they can determine if he drank on the job. I like to enjoy myself just as much as the next guy, but theres a time and place. Unfortunately theres probably thousands more dealerships like this that just don't have a death toll yet.

The dealership MUST be sued, the level they going to be broke. They the one who hire idiots which is very very common in the Mitsubishi dealership.
Kind of a trend there, including mechanics.
Some times feels like every wanna be, who doesn't fit any other dealership finds its home at the 3 diamond's.
It is beyond sad.
