SST and Grinding Issues?

Since it's not a big secret that a significant number of Evo X GSRs have notchiness (cold starts, grinds between gears, difficulty getting into reverse) do the MRs experience anything like this?

I understand that it's an automatic but just wanted to hear from MR owners out there, particularly if there have been any complications using the SST. Thanks.

I think you will find an extensive number of threads regarding discussions of the TC-SST here:

While "grinding" may not be an issue I'm aware of, it can be a noisy transmission while functioning, but that seems to be typical as it is a pretty complex component of the car.

With a cold start I notice that it's a little less smooth but it's normal :-)!

Sometimes switching to reverse is a bit delayed from shifting using the shifter to the R appearing in the dash, but other then that no issues.
