Grind noise after engine start.

Hi all,

I own a 2008 JDM SST Evo X and lately after engine start, i can hear the normal clunking sound but now after that it is followed by a loud grind (all this happened right after engine start with gear positioned at P)
What is actually happening? The clutch not engaging properly? sst fluid low? It normally happens on a morning but the coldest here is only 70F-75F.

Car is about 1 1/2 years old with 10k miles on it.

Thanks to those who can help diagnose!

id be interested to know what the cause is aswell. for the first time it happened to me last night. it was about 14C (57F) at night.

Did it kinda sound like someone was turning the key for 2 secs while the engine was already running?

mine sounded like it miss shift on a manual, but it was on P the whole time. the grind sound came app. 2 secs right after engine start. probably it was checking its gears and the clutch miss shift the gears or something.

That happened to me twice before. A couple months ago and last year.
I have no clue what it is... It sounds like grinding a gear.

I thought it could be from the clutches not disengaging when I turn the car off. You know that 1 or 2 second delay when you turn the motor off. When I start it up the clutches are still engage and when the starter cranks the flywheel its semi engaged or something.
