Gas was .87c when I started driving.

3.30 x 12 gal = 39.60
3.90 x 12 gal = 46.80

Difference: 7.20. Not a big change.

Yep. SoCal prices are high. I am curious if they are seeing what the SF Bay Area folks are enduring. It is as high as $4.30 a gallon, but $4.17 a gallon is considered decent for name brand gasoline. Kind-a crazy prices .. for sure.

I think you can find 91 octane for less than $4.10 if you go to Arco, so some other cut-rate gas station.

I love ThunderHill. Awesome track! And, yeah, they charge a few extra coins for that gasoline they have in the pits. But they do have some really nice high octane stuff too (even leaded gas ... for those who run a test pipe with the appropriate tune). Hope it was fun! Once I get on the track it usually takes a month to get the smile off my face.

Paying around $3.80 for 93 octane lately, I feel bad for you guys who pay more for only 91, not that it's a huge difference though.
