I had my CF spoiler sanded down and UV clearcoated and then painted on the outside blue while leaving the inside carbon fiber and I haven't have any issues...even with all the salt/snow and rain from this crazy weather we've been having...CF gets some of the weight off the trunk

i had mine for 2 years i clean and wax it like once a month a little more in the summer and it looks new.

If you have the OEM SSS wing, and plan to buy the Seibon SSS style wing, I'd just keep it stock, and save yourself the time of uninstall, sell, ship, buy, install...
