BBQ evo X. Someone torched it. WHHATT?
Well its on the WW evo x and i park it in the garage now every night
stock exhaust? did you remove any of the exhaust heat shields? stock fuel pump? how long was the car sitting before it caught fire? not that I expect you to admit any possible mistakes for insurance reasons, but just some thing that cross my mind looking at the pictures. the fire seems to have been most intense near the fuel pump
if any of the fuel line fittings melted, then it might not be arson. just staying.

Wow that is a messed up situation.
That definitely look like arson. Fire started in the interior.
I gotta ask though, has the insurance company paid you out for the car already? I mean, a 12 hour turnaround on paying out a claim is super fast. Especially when arson is involved. Insurance companies usually like to see police reports and get good statements from vehicle owners.
The reason for this is insurance fraud.
Many people who owe more than a car is worth, are sick of making payments or cannot unload it simply report the car stolen or burn it to the ground.
I am not saying that you set your car on fire. Please don't take it that way. Just consider it from an insurance company or outside persons perspective.
I noticed from some earlier posts that (if it was indeed you that posted) that you are 19 years old. It appears that you have already owned some high end cars (an STI I believe) and that you also own another WW Evo. Older Post
At 19 years old, I don't see how that is really possible without being quite wealthy or having some very creative financing. If you have gone the financing route, than thats going to be some other flags to be looked at. Does he have a job to pay for all these car payments?...
Who are his enemies? And what has he done (or what have his enemies perceived that he has done) to burn his vehicle in front of his house? Cause that is a powerful message to send.
Just prepare yourself for the questions. They may come. And it may complicate your payout. Then again, they may never come. Good luck. Its a crappy situation.

Assuming this is not mechanically related at all and excluding Divine Intervention, there are only 2 possible solutions to this:
a) Someone hates you/your car and it ain't random. Another member pointed out your "funny" license plate. Though these things can be meant as tongue-in-cheek, it's my personal experience that drivers who actually order those kinds of plates transfer the same attitude while driving, even once in a while. Essentially, someone hated you THAT MUCH to do this to you. So the real question is, wtf have you been doing while driving in your Evo?
b) Insurance fraud. I'll leave it at that.

But that sucks about your car. Have you pissed off any women lately? I doubt it was a dude. If you **** off a guy, they'll mostly want to kick your *** but if you **** off a lady, well they'll get us where it hurts...our cars.
I broke up with a girl who was sort of crazy at the end of the relationship, i told the police the only person i could think of really was my ex girlfriend because she sent me a text that said "You can delete me off facebook and change your number, but you can't change your address" but apparently she was out of town when it happened

But no. That really blows. Words cannot express how I would feel if my RA was subjected to a 3 AM arson attack.

Thats a complete lie. Everyone and their mom say "they were out of town when it happened."Did she know you loved your car? I'm pretty sure it was her or someone do it for her.
Soooooo terrible, some people are just so f*cked up in the head. Im sorry man. This sh*t makes me sick to my stomach. Ahh women, can't live with them can't live without them..mine threatened to color my WW with a key and baseball bat. On a brighter note, congrats on the new WW though and keep that thing safe!!!!! WW FTW!

But seriously this is one of the most insane things I've heard happening in real life. I would be freaked out if someone toasted my car like that. I can't imagine.
I wouldn't completely rule your ex out - this is right up the alley of "crazy jilted ex" behavior. Even if she was "out of town" and has an alibi, she could have paid someone to do it. She could still be connected in some way.
Anyways, good luck with everything , hope things work out with insurance and everything
the ex reminds me of some of these chicks on this list...

I live in a small town, only 2 EVO Xs here and everyone grew up knowing my name because of the materialistic possessions i've had. Haters accumulate because of it so that's the only thing I could think of - besides my x girlfriend who i had broken up with in Feburary.. she sent me a weird text but apparently she was out of town when it happened.
Well its on the WW evo x and i park it in the garage now every night
no comment, all work was done by a shop.
This happened a couple weeks ago, they just paid out on it this week and so i picked up a WW X
the question You're asking if what have i been doing. I dont even drive spiritually in town for i would have to sell it if i got a speeding ticket - i couldn't afford the insurance. I used to play world of warcraft so thats why i have the plates
