^^Sounds exactly what they did to my evo. I bought it with a "we owe" to fix the back bumper damaged by the previous owner. And Korum fix it twice half-***'d. The color still doesn't match, and you can still see the damage.

from long beach , ca but on vacation right now here in albany, oregon. soon traveling up to fort lewis, washington. then vancouver, canada. all in the evo, wonderful car to take a road trip in hope to see some of you guys on the road..

I'm going to have some guys I super trust fix mine. I don't trust dealerships at all, and will always go over the car with a fine tooth comb next time.

Randy, I didn't realize you were with family, I say take them to McMinnville Aviation Museum. Some great roads. Oregon coast is great as well... should really get a chance to see the foul-weather coast before you're gone

I cant wait to see this '10 Evo X GSR in Phantom Black to come in. It would be sweet have all the local enthusiant's for a good time here. I look forward to learning more about these sweet cars then the regular training offers.

By the way, there is another local Evo owner deployed to Italy right now. I think his name on here is Spinner85. I'm not sure if that is where you are right now. I think he said he was in some explosives unit.

 

Yep. Harris/Spinner85 and his wife, also in the service, are stationed there for a few more years and yeah, it was some explosives team. Not sure what his wife does.

 

If he's in Italy that means that he's deployed to Afghanistan with me right now, 173d ABCT (Airborne Combat Team) but I don't know of any EOD guys in our unit. He may be part of the SETAF unit over there and is still in Italy. I'm sure I'll meet up with him once I'm back in a couple months .

 

Come back safe. My best friend ships out to Afghanistan for his last year in, next month.
