What's up... Just bought a 2006 evo se that has some mods and just added a perrin intake as well as new tsw wheels. Live in Tacoma, wa and looking for some place (car club, track whatever) to drive my evo like it was meant to be driven so anyone that can point me in the right direction would be great. Also I hear that cartoys are not a great route to go for getting a radio / gear installed as many people have had issues with them. anu idea who to go to around here?

Thanks I emailed english earlier today about my next mod (thinking green turbo/larger injectors but not sure, asked for their advice). I'm already tuned, guy I bought it from said PINA Motorsports in kent did the work.

I was more looking for a place that does radio/GPS/ radar installs and i've heard not so great things about cartoys messing up evos. I have most of the gear already and can wire it up myself, I just know I'll end up breaking something.

I called pacific raceways looking for info and the guy told me best bet was to join a car club. This is my first turbo car (coming from a 2003 civic) and I definitely need some place to practice. I was debating the advanced driving course at pacific to get my skills up but it would be nice to have some place to go practice on the weekends regularly perhaps eventually race.

Hey, my name is John. 21 - Work in Enumclaw, Wa doing private residential construction. Got my RR Evo 8 MR about 2 months ago and really like it. A lot different than my mazdaspeed 3, can't stop thinking about mods and what I want to blow my money on next.

School is $200 at PIR for 2 days. 1 day class room, 1 day at track.

 

I was joking, but thanks. I may actually do that at some point. I'm a decent driver, don't go out to the track much though. I'm sure more people think they're a good driver though.

Really? I work on florence street. I know there's a GG IX, I think the owner works for M of E? That you? Where does Nemxwasp work and what's he drive? Yeah we should definitely meet up, that would be cool. Be nice to talk to some other evo owners and get myself a little more educated.

 

yeah we both work there. his is the grey MR mine is a black SE. I usually drive my civic and save the evos miles. I did have orange rims but now just some TSWs. btw my names Pete, nice to meet ya John. The three of us need to find a place to lay it down legally.

R/T Ernie, I've been talking to Aaron man he know his sh*t... he's working up a quote for me to upgrade my cam to s2 with valve springs, lower intercooler pipe, larger injectors, FP Green turbo, and retune.
