cost cutting is what they call it internally...publicly its weight savings :-)

take it back and have them refit the under tray...good luck with the X I'm sure you'll end up loving the car but hating the brand.

thanks for clarifying guys.

i spoke to the dealership this morning and they're covering the missing parts. they explained to me that a lot of times the pre delivery inspection calls for them to remove the under engine cover... i guess the tech they had inspecting the car only hand tightened the bolts up front. oh well.

can't wait to see what this car can really do. coming from a 350z... i've already got the itch to mod my Evo. this is probably the only time i'll ever wish there were MORE miles on my car

Glad they took care of the under tray for you. The tube is worthless though, so I wouldn't worry about that. Doesn't connect anywhere.

Don't do it . It's a slippery slope

Seriously..... don't mod the car for a while. When you can control the car for everything it can do, then start modding

Too late, Perrin shorty on the way

My Z had 38k on the clock when I got it so I felt like I had to mod it as fast as I could, while the miles were "low". The first 6 months I had dropped about 4-5k on it

I am definitely going to take my time with the Evo. I may do a few cosmetic things here or there but nothing under the hood for a bit.

Was their a specific part number or just a hose that fit from the hardware store?
