Strange starting issue... 08 GSR
Hey guys,
I've had my car for a little over 6 months now with zero problems whatsoever. I am getting tuned on Saturday and of course... the first signs of weird problems arise.
I'm thinking maybe it's just a bad tank of gas? But traffic was heavy yesterday and admittedly, I stalled out... first time in years
but it happened, and I noticed it took much longer to crank than usual. Didn't think anything of it... Other than my clutch getting really really soft (I want to remove the pill eventually), no other problems on the way home. This morning she cranked and drove fine on the way to work, but again... I stalled out again, having a bad week I guess lol. When I went to crank my car at lunch today, same issue, I held the starter for a good 10-15 seconds and it would never turn over, let it sit for about 10 seconds and tried again and it fired right up.
My question is, do you guys think it's a bad tank of gas and if so, is it safe to be tuning on that? I run 93 always.

I've had that happen on numerous cars where when you stall out it takes a bit longer to restart for some odd reason but it's happened to me a few times also where the car runs fine thereon.
no I have an MR but every once in a while I have experienced the car taking unusually long to turn over where I would have to stop and just try to start it again. Very rare but has happened. I don't think it's gas.
removing the pill I hear is a pretty good thing to do also.
