"get rad" thanks, whats the recommended tow hook to fit that bar from japan parts anyhow?

meh i'm a stickler for not rigging up things i'm sure it might work but i'm also planning on putting that evo vented nose thing along with the crash bar on my RA when i get my new FMIC, so gunna need the crash bar anyhow

The part is $200 but so is the shipping. lol. I almost ordered this. I still haven't seen anyone order it and post pictures that everything worked properly. As far as hooks go, anything JDM should work. Beatrush was what I was going to buy.

btw im pretty sure you need to purchase the crash beam plastic vents also as they are smaller than the usdm ones. I was looking into it last year but figured id buy other things before goin this route for a tow hook

good to know...so the vents that go thru the jam crash beam are smaller then the US ones eh...

i remember there was someone on this forum who put the jdm bar on his X, have to find him and inquire as ot what he did

so with regards to this photo
http://www.japanparts.com/images/Ima...ase=1&no=25022

P/N 62226 (bumper ring) looks like it might easily replace the chrome ring we RA guys have on our bumper, then i assume P/N 62215 (nose vent piece) attaches to it

then P/N 62078 (vent) bolts on to said jdm bar

so that being said i'd need all three to make this happen on my RA... can any of you guys confirm for me that your center vent piece is/isn't attached in the above manner

I looked into this, but ended up going with a Rennline universal receiver/tow hook. It was pretty easy to drill a couple of holes in the crash beam and end up with a functional tow hook a lot cheaper than replacing the crash beam. Got the idea and part numbers from here:

Im not to sure I remember reading up about this in a weight reduction thread and this was apparently one of the options. Search on here and the other forum, I, not sure which one had the info on it. It might have been the other forum.
