I've got a 2011. I like my button, I was told the reason for the switch was the older style didn't work well with winter gloves on.

 

funny thing is this worked on a 2011 that i test drove but the one i did bought doesnt have this....is it an option i had no idea till i bought the car!

 

I have a '10 ralliart and my girlfriend has a 11 gts and I'd rather have my door handles then have hers with the button on her handle. For me its not really for the ease its just what on now used too

 

I don't know if I believe that one. If I'm washing my car and I have the keys in my pocket, the car will unlock just by water running across the door handle. Of course, that only works if standing like 2 feet away.. Maybe my car is just more sensitive..?

 

My 08 does the same thing. Kind of annoying. I leave my keys in the car when I wash my car so there is no constant lock/unlock as I pass by the handle with a wash mitt.
