Unhappy What is the annoying rattling noise on the driver's front side???

It sounds like something is rattling on the front left side. I brought it to the dealership today and they heard the noise but can't find it.They checked everything and they found no loose parts.

It happens when I drive over uneven roads and/or small bumps at 30mph or less. It sounds like metal to metal rattling? This has been happening for a few weeks. Any ideas???

Inside the car or outside? If inside, check behind the A-pillar cover.

It usually caused by the plastic dash rattling against window. Try holding down the dashboard next time it rattles to check.

It's difficult to tell. It sounds like its outside, but maybe inside?

I had a similar metal on metal sound that only happened around 1500 RPM. Turns out it was under the hood.

May be the pillar, may be the dash? I have a rattle in the rear right side that I haven't figured out where that is coming from. The shifter cable rattles when in 5th gear going over 65mph. The glove box rattles. It never ends...

Sadly that seems to be the ultimate Rattle Solution...

I hope Mitsubishi works on these rattling issues for future cars... we shouldn't have to chase rattles like this.

I have this on the passenger front, like metal rattling. Haven't looked to see what it is. Be nice to know.

I know my panel under the steering wheel rattles at certain RPMs. Might check that one also. I have not got around to pulling this off to see what I can do to fix it.

This is the passenger side headlight. The arrow is pointing to a piece of metal that shakes under vibration. That was hitting my headlight when the RPMs would be at around 1500. I just tried my best to bend the metal closer to the frame of the car and no more rattle.

I have a rattle in the same area but as its a JDM on the RHS( Drivers ) .

After looking for weeks i have narrowed it down to where the Drivers front quarter panel joins the engine bay & is bolted in , pretty much where the hood sits when closed

If you look at it and tap the thing it sounds tinny and slamming the drivers door you can hear the rattle .

I wedged rubber/foam strips in there and it definatly stopped the noise however there are a few areas where it rests Metal on Metal.

Hope that makes sense ....
