EVO X Areo Package/Non Aero Package?

I am doing research on buying an Evo X and I want to know the total cost. In the list of options it has aero package. Is that only for the MR and not the GSR?

Mitsubishi's website is pretty sad and bare bones.

Thanks, then I assume almost everyone gets the aero package because I havent seen a lancer without it.

Why wouldn't it be offered on both? I have it and personally think it makes the car look more complete.

the package is for both models you just have to tell them you want it if the car you are buying does not have it. when i bought my x back in '08 it didn't have the aero kit on it but i recently went to a mitsu dealer to get the sides after getting the voltex lip. you cant go wrong with the factory parts imo, they are pre painted and fit perfectly!

The new cars have medium-width skirts and come standard with the high wing, which wasn't the case in 2008. Most people find the rubber piece in the front hangs too low, especially after lowering the car.

I do not recommend Aero...the aftermarket is better.

factory aero looks... meh. kinda big and bulky, makes the car look "tall" if you know what i mean.

i opted to get non-aero so i could add aftermarket pieces without having to remove the factory aero if i went down that road.

same

went from this:

to this:

got a custom cf lip, cf wing, don't really care for sideskirts, maybe an hid project to worry about later.
added a vortex generator for good measure and priorities are boosting.

the $1400 saved covered a full turboback and 3port in my sig

without imo

I don't like the look of it, but that's just me. good looking aftermarket lips make the front look more aerodynamic, almost like a splitter. the OEM just looks like the car is on a skid-plate

and even if you still decide you like it down the line, I bet you can find one used on the forums for WAY cheap. it's like low spoilers on early Evo's - easy to get if you really want them, but hard to get rid of

dont do it! too many nice kits out there.. remember to get the authentic ones for perfect fitment... i somewhat regret getting the ''handling package'' $3000 CAD which includes High spoiler, Bilstein shocks/Eibach springs, BBS rims, 2 piece front rotors. it's a good deal but i end up replacing most of the items above anyways...
