Where did you guys put the tape for optimal fit (so it won't fly away), and least gaps? pictures will be appreciated. I'm trying to redo mine, I'm pretty sure i put it where I wasn't supposed to because i have a side that keeps popping off.

I don't have one yet, but want a fiberglass one or plastic to paint it to the AS roof or get a wrap and paint the vortex . I would highly recommend some high adhesive 3M silicon to go along with that 3M tape , becuase most crap comes from Taiwan or HK and You cant guarantee that's real 3M tape. Interior who cares out side on the roof I would care.

gunter45 - i agree. the tape supplied was weak. had to re-buy 3m tape at home depot.

 

had the same issue with the provided double sided tape... i used silicone with some 20lb wights on it over-night >.< worked like a charm, it doesn't move
