So I just recently traded in my Apex Silver 08 for a Phantom Black 11 X. This all starts as great news until my first day back at work. I got the car on Tuesday which was my first day off. I had some more quality time with her on Wednesday as well... Now back to work on Thursday... I got there at approx 3:45 and parked in a spot away from everyone else along a wall where I work. The passenger side was facing the wall and someone chose this side for the cowardly act! I had the car for 2 days with roughly 100 miles on the odometer and someone I work with decides to be a douchebag.

The hate was so strong they went down to the metal and effectively left me responsible for a lovely $500 deductible... Just thought I'd vent a bit!

 

if you have parking cameras, ask the security if he looks like somebody from your workplace. a lot of haters of evo's as well as new cars.

 

Horrible! People should not hate, they should appreciate.

 

It's this kinda crap that makes me extremely happy the building I work at has a gated parking lot along with dozens of security cameras.

Sorry to see this happen to such a nice car.

 

Id probably send a night in jail or longer if i caught someone doing that and ive had my PB MR for a year .

 

Unfortunately no camera's in the parking lot which makes zero sense to me. I know for a fact it's a shady coworker because I park in a train yard where only fellow coworkers are allowed. I guess it's better I didn't find out who it was or I would have been jobless by now!!!
It definitely sucks knowing I have to go back and park there again... Oh and my car wasn't the only new car ever keyed around this place. I'm gonna see what my lawyer says about possibly having them cover my deductible or forcing them to install some damn cameras!

Wish me luck with that one...

 

sounds like it's company property, so perhaps your lawyer could look into holding the company responsible for lack of security in the area, and douchebaggery... if that available.

I don't get why people hate Evolutions enough to vandalize someone's new car.

I do like the MR for its relative stealth. Not having the wing makes it look like a base Lancer unless you look close. I had one person take it for a Volvo, in fact. I haven't had any dirty looks or anything like that. Yet.

Its not about Evolutions....thats the last thing this is about. Name almost anything else that comes to mind---it wasnt the car that drove the douche bag to do this---the car was the victim not the cause.
So called haters are hating for other reasons...that we dont have the privilage of knowing about at this time-- or ever will for that matter.. It sucks under any circumstance.
