I got some respect for subaru, although it is fun to spank them. Out at stratotech i had a newer STi' in my run group and every session we were fighting for 2nd place. After each session we would keep beating each other by 1/10th of a second. I had more power but he had more suspension mods so he would get me in the turns.

But yea, i defently want to lay some spankings on some mustangs. My buddy drives a Cobalt SS/TC and obviously i would spank that. He is bringing his fathers C6 Corvette whenever i ge the clutch in. That should be a good race.

Haha, glad you like it. Just remember to check up on the filter every now and then. Usally ill take a peak every time i do a oil change to make sure its not getting to dirty. (just turn the wheels to the right and look through the slots in the fender liner)

As for your times, you need to get a 1.7 - 1.8 60'. If you learn how to launch it with the 2 step you can get a nice 60'. But you will need a clutch soon, haha.
Here is the copy of my last dyno.

Jesus... Max torque by 3200rpm. I highly recommend getting a different tune or at least get cam to either back the torque down or have it hit peak torque later in the rpm. Whats your afr?

Well it might be safe since i dont know what the full tune looks like but hitting max torque that soon would be way past my comfort zone.

Ya. I am definitely wanting to try a different tune. I think I am gonna look into tuners in Calgary. I would consider an etune but i would need another wideband i think. I have an innovate wide band gauge & i don't recall seeing anywhere to plug in for data logging. I have been running this tune for almost a year & my previous tune For over a year & had the exact same curve. 377 awtq @ 3200 rpms, 305 awhp. That was on stock i/c & stock airbox.

I am not sure you guys know/aware what it is a premature faliure... This tune attempts and etunes etc. actually can, and so may times does do a damage on the engine. The engine is no joke- not indestrucible, specially if you have upgraded parts in/on it, so not even stock.
Take it to the pro tuner to get your car tuned , will run better faster and the real deal is - reilable.
There is a reason why some tuners has they OWN shop as a TUNER ( not renting the dyno ), and others doesnt.
So the one of best way to distinguish tuner from tuner is they establisment in the racing world.
Why? Because they are the ones who do and test the cars and engines to the limit continiously. And if they can sustain they name and shop in that world, that means they do a great job.
So when you doesnt need an all out pro tune, they can do it for you the best.

so look up some of those stationary guys vs the one backpack ones, and get a tune if you like your car. You will or did spend a lots of money on the evo, dont cheapen out one of the most major thing in building the car, never a good idea.

Rob

The only one in Calgary is Sunny from Airboy tune, he's worse then Cam..lol. I'm going to get this out of the way, i am in no way bashing Sunny or Cam, im just relaying the info to what is avalible for us (Evo guys in Alberta)

If you check out the other forum, Cody (pounder) went to Sunny with his Ralliart EvoX swap. He said the tune was alright but it was knocking in a few places. He got a hold of Kris (Clipse3GT and did etuning), he got 50hp more, no knock and overall driveability improved. LIke wtf? he got more power, safer and DD driveability improved... Couple of othe people had similar expeirences with sunny like that.

As for the wideband and etuning. You shouldnt need another gauge. There should be a blue wire (at least on mine its blue) for logging coming off the back of your gauge...it might be a different color. You run that wire to a usb-serial port adaptor. You connect that wire to one of the pins, another ground wire to another pin and to a grounder spot. Then plug the usb part into the laptop. Its really easy to do and i installed the adaptor in another Evo owner within 40mins. PM if you are interested and i can give you more info.

2 weeks ago was one of the best tuner from eu in calgary...
tuned 2 open rally car and one X production class. The X by far was the fastest in the category and even beated up open class cars...
just saying

I think Pat Richard tunes in Calgary too, but i am not sure about his time and price.

this is him from last week or so:

Correct me if im wrong, but for the 2 step you only need to push the asc, if you hold for 3 seconds you are turning off the YAW, which i heard you dont want to do... I drive an MR tho, and ive done 2 launches with it, and i never held it for 3 seconds, i roasted a toyota soarer
