Value of SSS package? 2010 GSR

Hey guys, looking into buying a used but great condition BASE 2010 GSR with 13k miles, my only gripe is that it doesn't come with the SSS package. Don't care too much for the spoiler, but the fact that it doesn't come with HIDS or the rockford/cleanly installed sub really suck.

So I'm wondering how hard would it be and how much would it cost to install these options (oem or aftermarket?) afterwards? I would just pay a shop to do it for me, because I have really bad electrical knowledge when it comes to cars.

Should I not even consider buying it since it's probably going to be a headache to install afterwards, and will probably run me about $2000 ish? How much would you guys pay to buy a used BASE 2010 GSR w/ 13k miles without sss?

Thanks for any help!

I think the lights run about a grand or so used. The option on a new one is about 2 grand. I wish I had oem hid's as well.

Contact this guy I think he has HIDs for sale from an 08 MR... I'm not exactly sure about the PnP on these... don't know if you're going to mess around with the whole DRL crap with these cars

PM = "ExtremeDSM"

You can get them used under 1k for sure

The other stuff, you might want to hang around the for sale forums (interior/sound) and wait for ppl to post their stock Rockford systems sometimes going real cheap, for a few hundreds

Also, one thing you don't/can't get without the SSS package is F.A.S.T Keyless Entry... I asked Mitsu they said they can't wire that on a non-SSS Evo GSR cuz it's a pita... I sure love my F.A.S.T so I couldn't buy one without it :-/

Ah I see, I'm getting an offer for 27k for a 2010 base model with 13k miles. I still feel like I could get a better deal though. I mean for 5-6k more I could get a brand new one heh.

I bought a 2008 base model with 8K for a little over 26K. @7K seems like a good price, since it is a 2010. I wish I had HIDs, the FAST key is not important to me.

If you want the SSS package then buy a car with the SSS package, there are plenty available.

i seen a couple 2010 GSRs with SSS for around 29-31k. So i wouldnt pay more than 27k for one without it. Its not worth the $30-50/ month savings for what you would be missing out on.
